GAINESVILLE — Ethan Cobb scored five times to lead the Riverside Military Academy lacrosse team to a 12-8 win over Gainesville Monday.
Sheymus Maloney and Ben Turner each had two goals for the Eagles. Spencer Benford, Matt Roth, and Matt Rowan had one goal apiece for Riverside. Maloney, Chase Kaufman, Sam Lane, and Mackenzie MagGruer all had one assist for the Eagles.
Matt Rowan and Jon Canniff were aolis on defense and Jackson West had a season-high nine saves in one half ofaction for Riverside.
For Gainesville, John Wagner and Thomas Garner both registered hat tricks and Bill Hood chipped in two goals for the Red Elephants. Sam Terray had nine saves in goal for Gainesville.
