Hall County crews spent part of Sunday evening battling a house fire off of Falcon Parkway near Flowery Branch.
Hall County Fire Captain Zacharry Brackett said the crews were called to the scene of the house on Chris Avenue at around 8:45 p.m. He said smoke was coming from the building when crews arrived and the fire quickly moved to the attic.
"The value of the structure is $65,000, and it experienced heavy fire and smoke damage," Brackett wrote in an email Monday morning.
Brackett said crews were able to extinguish the flames using an "aggressive interior attack". The cause of the fire is under investigation.
