GAINESVILLE — Lumpkin County scored five second half goals to rally to beat Lakeview Academy 5-2 Friday night.
Lakeview (2-3-1) scored first on a Raunaq Sharif assisted by Jack Kennedy. Bryce Kimball scored in the second half for the Lions.
Ben Eades had 10 saves in goal for Lakeview.
The Lions next will play host to Hebron Christian on Tuesday in a Region 8-A match.
Lumpkin County (4-4) snapped a four-match losing streak. The Indians next will travel to Murray County on Tuesday.
