FLOWERY BRANCH — Jason Acosta scored with 1:28 left in overtime to lift the Flowery Branch boys soccer team to a thrilling 2-1 victory over Apalachee Friday night.
Acosta's goal came off an assist from Alexis Jimenez to give the Falcons their first Region 8-AAAAA win.

The Falcons next will travel to Lanier on Tuesday in another Region 8-AAAAA match.
