Fire damaged a house in the 7300 block of Williams Road Thursday night.

"Arriving units found heavy fire showing from a single-wide mobile home that also had a 20’x20’ addition on the back of the home," Hall County Fire Services spokesman Zachary Brackett said in an email.  "An aggressive interior attack was utilized to extinguish the fire and confine it to the room of origin."

Capt. Brackett went on to say the rest of the dwelling had smoke damage throughout and there were no injuries.  "All occupants were out of the home upon arrival of our units."

He said damage was estimated at $20,000 and that the cause of the fire "was determined to be accidental in nature and resulted from a fire in the fireplace that extended into the home."
