GAINESVILLE — The North Hall boys tennis team defeated Buford 5-0 Wednesday in a key Region 8-AAAA matchup.
The Trojans did not drop a set in improving to 4-0, 2-0 in Region 8-AAA.
In singles, Jackson Davis beat Dalton Counts 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 at No. 1, Dalton Patterson beat Cameron Deloach 6-1, 7-5 at No. 2, and Reid Lattanzi beat Luke Davidson 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3.
In doubles, Paxton Gillespie and Matthew Chewning defeated Garrett Jordan and Trent Milton 6-3, 7-5 at No. 1 and Dawson Smith and Daniel Martin beat Cole Tarleton and Todd Goehman 6-2, 6-1 to complete the sweep.
North Hall next will travel to White County on Thursday in another Region 8-AAAA match.
