ALPHARETTA — Riverside Military Academy fell 12-2 to St. Francis Wednesday in baseball action.
The Eagles had six walks and managed four hits but could not get the big hit.
Sam Berman got the win for St. Francis allowing just two runs on one hit in four innings. He struck out two, walked six and surrendered one hit.
St. Francis' Matthew Davis, Bret Madren and Ryan Field combined for six hits and seven RBI to lead its offense.
Riverside's Alex Kerns had a tough day on the mound allowing six runs in two innings.
Riverside took a 1-0 lead in the first and it stayed that way until the third. St. Francis blew the game open with a six-run third. The Eagles cut it to 6-2 in the fourth but could get no closer.
St. Francis added three more in each of the fifth and sixth innings to put the game away.
