ATHENS — The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team cruised into the Region 8-A semifinals on Tuesday courtesy a 64-48 defeat of Athens Academy in Athens.
Tre Gober scored 18 points to lead the Lions (22-4), while Daniel Fadool added 17 points and six assists in the win. Drew Cottrell also scored 13 points, while Josh Randolph dished out five assists.
Lakeview will play again in the 8-A semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday against the winner of Wednesday's Tallulah Falls vs Prince Avenue game.
