One man was taken to the hospital after an officer-involved shooting in unincorporated Gwinnett County Christmas Eve night.
In a release, the Gwinnett County Police Department said they were called to a reported domestic incident on Castleberry Drive near Buford when they say they were confronted by a man with a knife. Officers then shot the man several times.
Gwinnett County Fire Services treated the man and took him to a nearby hospital. The police department said no officers were injured in the incident.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is looking into the case. No further details on the incident have been released.
