GRAY — Chestatee rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 72-59 victory over Jones County Wednesday in girls basketball action in the Jones County Christmas Tournament.
Lindsey Caudell had monster game with 29 points and 11 rebounds to pace Chestatee (14-1), which got balanced scoring across the roster. Maggie McNair added 14 points and Dawndria Bell had eight points for the Lady War Eagles. Eramiss Hernandez, Becca Eddins, and Morgan Bryant each had six points.
The Lady War Eagles jumped out to a 24-16 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 39-24 by halftime. They took a 58-39 lead into the fourth quarter.
Chestatee is off until opening the Lanierland Tournament next Wednesday against Gainesville.
