CARROLLTON — The Gainesville girls basketball team took a 50-34 win over Banneker Monday in the Carrollton Christmas Tournament.
Taylor Hawks paced the Lady Red Elephants (6-2) with 16 points. Tija Blackwell added nine points and 11 rebounds for Gainesville.
The Lady Red Elephants next will travel to Milton on Thursday.
