Girls basketball: Hab Central uses big fourth quarter rally to beat Dawson

MT. AIRY — Habersham Central used a 24-6 fourth quarter to erase a second half deficit to take a 51-42 win over Dawson County Monday night in girls basketball action.

Dawson County (3-9) led for the first three quarters. The Lady Tigers led 12-10 after one quarter and took a 25-22 lead into halftime. An 11-5 third quarter pushed Dawson County's lead to 36-27 heading into the fourth quarter.

Kaylee Sticker had 12 points to lead Dawson County. Abi Chatham added 10 points and Cadey Ayers had eight points for the Lady Tigers.

Dawson County is off until Dec. 27 when the Lady Tigers will take on Stephens County in the Commerce Christmas Classic.

Habersham Central will play host to Madison County on Tuesday.
