It won't be a major winter weather event, but National Weather Service forecasters are predicting some light, freezing rain across northeast Georgia overnight tonight.
A hazardous weather outlook calls for a light glazing of ice on power lines and trees and maybe even on bridges.
The affected area is generally east and north of a line from Blue Ridge to Jasper to Dawsonville to Cleveland.
Forecasters say they'll be watching conditions between 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
