Gwinnett County police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that happened early Monday morning on I-985 northbound near Buford Drive.
Authorities were called to the scene at 3:40 a.m., according to information from the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The wreck involved two vehicles, and one vehicle traveled into the woods.
One person was killed.
