DAWSONVILLE — Rabun County continued its hot start to the season with an 80-71 win over Dawson County on the road Tuesday night.
The Lady Wildcats (5-1) opened with a 20-12 first quarter and led 41-38 at halftime. Dawson County (1-6) rallied to take the lead briefly in the third quarter but the Lady Wildcats responded to take a 67-53 lead into the fourth quarter.
Kaylee Sticker led Dawson County with 20 points and Anna Lowe had 13 for the Lady Tigers.
Dawson County next will ravelt o Greater Atlanta Christian on Thursday to open its Region 7-AAA schedule. The game was moved from Friday due to the GAC football team playing the Class AAA state title game on Friday.
