A Snellville man faces charges for allegedly breaking into a Hall County home Nov. 22, and subsequently stabbing and biting a male victim.

Noe Ortiz-Palafox, 32, bit the victim in the shoulder, breaking the skin, then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the neck, according to Lt. Scott Ware, Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman; deputies are not sure what, if any, relationship Ortiz-Palafox had with the victim.

The stab wound required surgery, and the bite also left red marks and abrasions.

Ortiz-Palafox faces charges of aggravated assault, battery and first degree burglary. He also had an immigration hold placed upon him.

Ortiz-Palafox was arrested Friday, and booked into the Hall County Jail, where he remained Monday afternoon.

The home is located on Dawsonville Highway, according to Ware.
