GAINESVILLE — Sadie Cleveland scored her 1,000th career point for the North Hall girls but it was enough to help the Lady Trojans, who fell to North Forsyth 55-49 in overtime at the North Hall gym.
North Hall (3-2) led 8-7 after the first quarter but fell behind 21-19 by halftime and trailed 31-29 heading into the fourth quarter. But the Lady Trojans staged a big fourth quarter rally that would send the game into overtime tied at 47.
The Lady Raiders outscored North Hall 8-2 in the extra period to pull out the win.
Niki Carver paced North Hall with 13 points. Cleveland needed just five points to break the 1,000-point threshold and finished the game with 10 points and six rebounds Tatum McQuillen chipped in with 10 points for the Lady Trojans.
Caroline Martin led North Forsyth with 15 points.
