Two Gainesville Christmas traditions are planned Dec. 4: Christmas on Green Street and Christmas is One Language.
Christmas on Green Street - featuring carolers, carriage rides and Santa Claus - will begin with a parade at 4:30 and culminate at 7:00 with the lighting of the Rotary Tree at Green and Academy streets.
Christmas is One Language, featuring choirs from several Gainesville area churches, will begin at 7:00 at First United Methodist Church on Thompson Bridge Road.
