Animal Medical Care has hired Dr. Heather Tarpley in what the firm calls a move to "to strengthen and expand the services it provides" to Gainesville and Hall County.
Dr. Tarpley earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia and is board-certified in veterinary clinical pathology. She has worked as a veterinarian for ten years in north Georgia, serving as medical director of an animal hospital most recently.
Dr. Tarpley said, “I consider my profession of helping animals a great blessing and privilege, and I am honored to now be providing care to pets alongside Dr. Funk, Dr. Potter, and the hospital team of Animal Medical Care.”
Dr. Chris Potter of AMC said “We are excited to have Dr. Tarpley join our team given her extensive experience in veterinary medicine and the skillset she brings to our practice. We have known Dr. Tarpley for many years and have the utmost confidence and trust that she will be a strong asset for our patients and clients.”
