Heather Feldman is the new Executive Director of the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission.
Writing in the current edition of the GMRC newsletter, Feldman said "I am extremely honored and humbled to have been selected to lead this great organization, and I am grateful to be trusted with this new role."
Feldman has been with GMRC 15 years, most recently as Director of Economic Development.
She replaces Danny Lewis, who announced plans in March to retire before the end of the year.
