Two injured in wreck on I-985 exit ramp

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Interstate 985 and Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said the two injured people were entrapped in their vehicles after the wreck and had to be extricated by emergency crews. One of the two was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Gainesville campus, while the other was taken to the hospital's Braselton location.

The conditions of the two injured people is currently unknown and no further details about the crash have been released. The wreck also caused traffic to be paced by police for over an hour while oficials cleared the scene.
