Construction will bring a single lane closure to two roadways in Gwinnett and Jackson counties this week.
A single lane of Interstate 85 southbound will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday night in Braselton while crews continue work on the Jesse Cronic Road Bridge.
Contractors will be painting the steel beams during that time, according to a press release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
A single lane will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.
In North Gwinnett, a single lane of Ga. 20 in Sugar Hill will be closed Tuesday in both directions as crews continue to widen the road near the Chattahoochee River.
The lane closures will run between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
