More work on I-985 near Suwanee and Georgia 211 in Barrow County will result in lane closures early this week
The Georgia Department of Transportation says the I-985 work will take place Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and will involve the surface of the Interstate bridge over Ivey Creek. "There will be a right-hand lane closure southbound on 985..." spokeswoman Katie Strickland said in an email last week.
Meanwhile, work on Georgia 211 in Barrow County will also result in lane closures this week between Old Thompson Mill road and Walden Road, Strickland said. That work is planned on Monday between 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
