Polls opened across North Georgia and the rest of the state at 7 a.m. for one of the most contentious presidential races in history.
Heavy early voter turnout prompted local elections directors to predict long lines all day Tuesday, but many precincts had lower numbers thanks to advance voter turnout.

Georgia's polls are open until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
