A Gainesville man faces two counts of child molestation after he allegedly touched girls, ages 5 and 9, inappropriately on multiple occasions.
Jose Francisco Viera-Piriri, 31, of Gainesville knew the victims, according to Lt. Scott Ware, Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
The girls' mother contacted police after the alleged incidents, which happened August 1 and August 15.
Viera-Piriri was arrested Thursday and booked into the Hall County Jail. At last report, he had not made his first court appearance, according to Ware.
