The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called to the scene of an officer-involved shooting on Ga. 77 near the Georgia Guidestones in Elbert County, officials confirm.
"The GBI has been requested by the Georgia State Patrol to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Elbert County," said GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles by email. "One male is deceased."
