The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed that one person was killed in a wreck in Jackson County Sunday afternoon.
Corporal Charles Parker with Post 32 in Athens said that the accident happened on Georgia 82, also known as Holly Springs Road.
No further details about the accident have been released. Parker said more details will likely be released Monday.
