The Jefferson softball team advanced to the Class AAAA Elite 8 after routing West Laurens 10-0 Thursday in Game 3 of their second round series.
The Lady Dragons split the first two games on Wednesday.
Jefferson will open the Elite 8 tournament next Thursday against Chapel Hill at 2 p.m. in Columbus at the Olympic Softball Complex.
