DAHLONEGA — Although the University of North Georgia women's golf team slipped five spots on the final day of the 2016 LeeAnn Noble Memorial, the Nighthawks still claimed a new 36-hole school record at 305-315-620, beating the previous mark by a stroke as UNG finished eighth in the 13 team field. Individually, it was Karson Stone's consistency leading the way with her second straight 75 posting a 150 on the tournament, good enough for a top 10 finish.

Jordyn Sims, Taylor Allen, and Alexis Whitney were all able to improve upon their first round scores as Sims carded a 75 to sneak into the top 20 at 78-75-153. Allen finished four shots better today than her first round performance, while Whitney improved her score by two strokes.

Montevallo took home the team title with a new tournament record, 292-299-591, 15 under par. The Falcons' Elaine Wood won the individual medalist honor following yesterday's impressive 69 with a new single round record of 68 for a new 36-hole record 137, -7.

The Nighthawks will wrap up their fall slate at the Flagler Fall Slam on Oct. 24 - 25 at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine, Florida.
