TMU women's golf finishes 7th in AAC Fall Championship

LaGRANGE — The Truett McConnell women's golf team finished alone in seventh place at the AAC Fall Championships at Highland Country Club. SCAD-Atlanta won the tournament by 11 strokes over Milligan, while St. Andrews, Tennessee Wesleyan and Point rounded out the top five.

Hannah Wall finished with the low score for TMU, finishing in a tie for 15th place after going 84-84--169. Ashton Thompson finished three strokes behind Wall in a tie for 23rd, and Ashley Blackburn finished in a tie for 29th.

Rachita Vasandani of SCAD-Atlanta won the tournament individually with a 75-80--155, one stroke better than Point's Courtney Lowery.

The Bears fall season has finished with the next tournament scheduled for the spring season. The first tournament will be the Montreat Cavalier Spring Invitational in March.
