A Forsyth County man is behind bars, accused of murdering his former roommate, authorities said Friday.
Christopher Puckett, 31, of Cumming allegedly got into an argument Thursday afternoon with his ex-roommate, Jimmy Hendrix, 52, which led to Puckett shooting Hendrix once in the chest.
Hendrix was taken from his Memphis Street home to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to a news release from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Puckett is charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Police said the incident happened around 4:43 p.m.
