Roadwork planned on Ga. 53 in Braselton has been postponed, officials confirmed Monday.
"The engineers have discovered some possible utility conflicts under that area of the roadway," said Katie Strickland, Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman, in an email.
There is no immediate time frame for when the work will take place.
Crews originally planned to install a new cross drainage pipe, necessitating a road closure and detour between Tuesday and Wednesday.
