Weekend activities abound in Northeast Georgia

It was another busy weekend in Northeast Georgia, with a variety of activities and special events taking place.

Currahee Military Weekend was held in Toccoa, paying tribute to the rich history of Camp Toccoa and the paratroopers who trained there.

Fall festivals were held around the area, including the Canon Fall Harvest Festival in the small Franklin County city.

In Clayton, emergency personnel from around Rabun County and the surrounding area gathered on the grounds of The Home Depot to present safety information and allow families to experience emergency vehicles and the Blairsville-based AirLife Georgia 14 medical helicopter.
