CARNESVILLE — Dawson County pushed its win streak to three straight and also snapped a two-game Region 7-AAA losing streak with a 63-42 victory over Franklin County Tuesday night.
The Tigers (11-10, 2-6 Region 7-AAA) led throughout but used a 15-5 second quarter to blow the game open for a 32-17 halftime lead. Dawson County pulled away in the second half to lead 46-27 heading into the fourth quarter.
Jeremiah Crumley led the Tigers with 16 points. Cullen Reed added 15 points for Dawson County.
Franklin County (7-15, 2-7) was paced Brooklyn Bright with 15 points.
Dawson County next will play host to rival Lumpkin County on Friday.
