BALDWIN - The Hayes family of auto dealers has re-located its Cadillac, Buick and GMC new car display to Baldwin from Toccoa. It is also enlarging both its sales and service areas at the Baldwin location to provide services for these three auto brands.

In addition to the Cadillac, Buick and GMC, Hayes also is the dealer in Baldwin for Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles. There are few dealers in the entire country that can count eight auto brands at a single location. With the added auto brands in Baldwin, Hayes becomes a destination location, and maintains it of the dealership that "Hayes Baldwin has it all."

Terry Hayes, one of the owners of the Hayes Auto Family, says that since the re-location in late August that sales activity and traffic have dramatically increased.

"All three added brands have exceeded expectations," he said.

Hayes also said that the former location of the new car dealership in Toccoa has become a super used car center.

Approximately 10 new jobs will be added at Baldwin when the conversion is complete, in early October, half in sales, and half in service. At that point, the dealership will employ 75 people in Baldwin. Additional service facilities will be incorporated in a new 6,000 square foot facility, with eight additional stalls. The Parts Department is also being enlarged in this move. The dealership is located on 30 acres, of which half is presently in use.

With the additional brands in Baldwin, there are approximately 400 new cars in the showroom on average.

The Hayes Auto Group Family also operates Chrysler, Dodge Jeep dealerships in Gainesville, and Lawrenceville.
