DEMOREST — Piedmont scored first and took another lead moments later, but saw North Carolina Wesleyan College equalize twice before scoring three more to earn a 5-2 victory over the hosting Lions in USA South men's soccer action earlier today at Walker Athletic Complex.
Piedmont's Chase Kane scored just over six minutes into the contest but NC Wesleyan equalized less than 90 seconds later to make it a 1-1 contest on Sheriff Secka's score for the Bishops. Kane would get another in the 10th minute to make it 2-1 Piedmont, but the Bishops proceeded to rattle off four straight to overtake the Lions in a 5-2 decision.

The loss drops Piedmont to 1-3-2 on the season as the Lions start 0-1 in USA South play in 2015.
