The Jefferson girls volleyball team overcame 17 service errors to beat both Morgan County and East Jackson Thursday in a tri-match.
With the victories the Lady Dragons improved to 27-5 overall and 6-2 in Area 8-AAA play. They beat Morgan County 25-16, 25-20 and held off East Jackson 25-13, 25-23.
Abby Wood again paced Jefferson with 14 kills and 21 digs. Bre Arbanas added eight kills and three digs, Grace Haney had four kills, eight digs, and 21 assists for the Lady Dragons. Lindsey Nilsen had 18 kills, Madison Corbett had 29 assists, and Olivia Przybysz finished with 23 digs for Jefferson.
