Anderson, S.C. — Morgan Reece paced the North Greenville University Women’s Golf Team in its first action of 2015-2016, leading the Crusaders to a sixth place finish at the Anderson University Invitational, played at the Cobb’s Glen Country Club in Anderson, S.C.
Reece turned in the first top five finish of her collegiate career, finishing fifth while making the All-Tournament Team. She finished five shots off the lead with a two-day total of 159. Reece shot a 78 on day one and an 81 on day two.
“I am proud of Morgan and her first All-Tournament Team finish,” remarked head coach Brad Caldwell.
Reece is 2014 Gainesville High School graduate and was a member of the Red Elephant girls golf team.
