Georgia Tech alumni are invited to join the Gainesville Georgia Tech Alumni Association at Mellow Mushroom on Green Street in Gainesville on Saturday to cheer on the Yellow Jackets in their game against Notre Dame. The party begins at 3 p.m., with kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12-and-under, as well as for current Georgia Tech students. Reserve your seats by making payment via PayPal. Please put a contact name and the number of adult/child/student tickets you are requesting in the "ADD A NOTE" section on PayPal. Admission includes pizza buffet with salad and iced tea, and a cash bar will be available.
The alumni association has secured two footballs autographed by former Yellow Jackets quarterback Joe Hamilton and head coach Paul Johnson. We have opened "silent auction" bidding for these balls (to be sold separately). Contact Fred Eyerman via email to make a bid (you do not have to be present at the event to buy the ball). Auction proceeds will go towards the establishment of a Gainesville Georgia Tech Alumni Network scholarship endowment fund to help award financial aid to future Georgia Tech students who are from the greater Hall County area.
