GAINESVILLE - A travelling exhibit made out of LEGO bricks is coming the Gainesville Botanical Garden beginning next weekend.
Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks opens on Saturday, September 19 and features large sculptures made almost entirely of the plastic building blocks.
Fourteen installations, ranging from a six foot tall preying mantis to life sized ducklings, will be on display until January 3. LEGO related activities will be offered throughout the the fall.
The artist, Sean Kenney, is based out of New York and has created LEGO artwork for several corporations and has been featured in numerous television shows and magazines.
