BRASELTON - The City of Braselton is encouraging residents to take a survey to help officials update their priorities for the town's 20 year Comprehensive Plan.
"Every five years, we update that plan, and this is our five year update," said Town Manager Jennifer Dees. "It encompasses everything from environmental action to future land use to transportation, even housing options that we want to see moving on into the future."
It includes everything from infrastructure to housing options, Dees said.
After this survey wraps up, Braselton officials will hold a town meeting of sorts to relay the feedback with other community members.
"We're holding meetings where people can come in the evening and give their input in person, but to make sure that everyone who is interested in guiding our future gets a chance to participate," said Dees.
At the next in-person meeting, Dees said they want to have the results of this survey and a previous survey available to discuss.
"What we're really looking for is a broad spectrum of residents that live across the town, property owners in town and business owners in town," said Dees. "We've also invited all of the jurisdictions that we're in, because Braselton is in four counties, and the city of Hoschton to participate because our borders touch each other.
