RABBITTOWN — The East Hall girls volleyball team continued its strong season knocking off a pair of Class AAAAA teams in Eastside and Cedar Shoals on Tuesday.
The Lady Vikings (22-7) beat Eastside 25-15, 25-11 and then whipped Cedar Shoals 25-11, 25-14.
Minette Maldonado had 15 kills, two assists and eight digs and Lorna Ayon had 10 digs to help lead East Hall to the victory. Summer Lindsey had 17 points scored on serve to go with 20 digs, Holly Poole had five aces, eight kills, and four digs, and Jessica Chmiel had three aces, four kills and two digs for the Lady Vikings.
Niyah Rucker had 10 kills and Cassida Shockley had three kills and 25 assists for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings next will travel to Johnson on Thursday in a tri-match with the Lady Knights and Stephens County.
