JEFFERSON — The Jefferson girls volleyball team swept a pair of non-region matches over Chestatee and Lakeview Academy Tuesday night.
The Lady Dragons (22-4, 2-1 Area 8-AAA) topped Chestatee 25-9, 25-11 and then held off Lakeview Academy 25-23, 19-25, 25-13 in the second match.
Abby Wood had 13 kills and 13 digs to lead Jefferson. Bre Arbanas had 10 kills, Grace Haney added 10 assists and five digs, and Lindsey Nilsen had nine kills for the Lady Dragons. Madison Corbett had a huge night with four kills, 25 assists, and six digs and Olivia Przybysz had 15 digs for the Lady Dragons.
Jefferson next will travel to Jackson County on Thursday for a pair of 8-AAA matches against the Lady Panthers and Oconee CountyAbby Wood.
