GAINESVILLE - Billy Hendrix is the newest member of the board of directors of Safe Kids Gainesville/Hall County.
Hendrix is the Vice President at Gainesville-based Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemeteries, and is a native of Richmond, Indiana, who has lived in Georgia for the past 30 years with his wife Amy, a Hall County native. He has been in the funeral profession for over 17 years and has also served on numerous non-profit boards and has been involved in civic affairs.
Hendrix currently serves as the First Vice President of the Georgia Cemetery Association and will assume the presidential duties in 2016 for the association.
He has served the Safe Kids coalition in the past and hosted National Night Out for many years.
