LOGANVILLE — After the promise of last week's second half breakout, the Flowery Branch football team saw its offense stall in a 35-0 loss to LOganville on Friday.
The Falcons (1-1, 0-1 Region 8-AAAAA) managed just 85 total yards against a Red Devils team that saw its attack catch fire in the second quarter for 28 points.
Quarterback Cameron Perkins provided plenty of key plays for Loganville (2-0, 1-0), completing 16 of 21 attempts for 220 yards and four touchdowns -- 121 yards of that going to Richard Fraser, who averaged 24.2 yards per reception.
Turnovers also hurt Flowery Branch, as the Falcons committed three to Loganville's one giveaway.
Flowery Branch will look to bounce back next week against Lanier in Flowery Branch.
