GAINESVILLE - No charges will be pressed against the driver of the vehicle involved in a rollover wreck that injured three students at East Hall High School Friday afternoon.
Sgt. Anthony Coleman of the Georgia State Patrol said the driver, 16-year-old Kaylee Lee of Lula, took evasive action when an oncoming vehicle was nearly in her lane on Old Cornelia Highway in front of the school. The vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, went off the road, hit a fence and overturned down an embankment.
Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes said Lee and the two other juvenile passengers were briefly trapped in the vehicle before being freed by the East Hall School Resources Officer. The three were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
