GAINESVILLE—The afternoon commute ran into a roadblock in Hall County on Thursday in the form of a water main break.
Teri Pope with the DOT confirmed the break on Highway 369/Browns Bridge Road at Watson Circle, saying the incident was first reported around 4 p.m.
She said after hours of work, which required a flagman to direct traffic through the area, crews were able to repair the water main at 8:15 p.m.
The previously affected roadway was then fully reopened to traffic.
