DAHLONEGA — Lumpkin County authorities have released surveillance photos from a recent burglary at Forest Hills Resort, hoping the public can help identify the suspects.
Sheriff's Office Lt. Wesley Burnett said the suspects entered several buildings at the resort, which is located west of Dahlonega.
"We don't know the total cost of items that have been stolen at this point - we do know that it is a large sum," said Burnett. "There was multiple TVs stolen, different equipment from each of the buildings and even some furniture pieces."
Burnett said two suspects are involved, based on surveillance footage. Officers are also looking for a pick-up truck that the suspects used.
"We're suspecting it to be a mid-90s Chevrolet, possibly a light green or a teal in color," said Burnett.
Burnett said the two suspects are not considered dangerous.
Anyone who has information on the suspects or suspect vehicle is asked to contact the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office at 706-482-2622 or Investigator Sterling Cole at [email protected].
