KOHLER, Wisc. — Gainesville native Charles Frost carded a 4-over-oar 76 in the opening round of the 2015 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisc., on Thursday.
Frost, currently the teaching pro at Kiawah Island Club, is tied for 111th in his first major event.
Frost -- who is also coaching current PGA professional Ben Martin, also competing at the event -- was 2-over through 17 holes but dropped a double-bogey on the final hole of the round.
Check back throughout the weekend to chart Frost's fortunes in the tournament.
