BRASELTON - Mizuno USA officials, along with Braselton City Council, cut the ribbon at the new distribution and manufacturing center.

The 520,000 square foot center, on Georgia 124, was under renovation for just over a year, and now has 160 employees, along with two miles of conveyance, high speed merge sorter, zone route technology supported by camera-based scanning technology, and a three-story pick module, according to a release from the City of Braselton.

“We’ve been in Norcross since 1982, and Braselton was selected because of the incredible infrastructure – the international airport, interstates and ports – along with the skilled workforce,”  said Mizuno USA President Bob Puccini in the release.

Mizuno was found in Japan in 1906 and specializes in sports equipment and supplies.
